About the Role

We're hiring an e-commerce specialist who can find winning products and guide a complete store setup from A to Z. You'll research niches, validate demand, source suppliers, build listings, and launch the store with a clear plan for pricing, fulfillment, and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and validate products using data (search trends, sales rank, reviews, margins, seasonality).
  • Run competitor and market analysis; define target customer and positioning.
  • Source suppliers (e.g., Alibaba/local), negotiate MOQs and landed costs; assess quality and lead times.
  • Build pricing models with clear margin targets, fees, and shipping assumptions.
  • Set up the store on Shopify/WooCommerce (theme, navigation, pages, apps).
  • Create and optimize product listings (titles, bullets, descriptions, images, keywords).
  • Configure payment gateways, shipping rules, return policy, and legal pages.
  • Prepare launch plan: basic SEO, email capture, promotional calendar, and starter ad structure.
  • Set up dashboards for KPIs (traffic, CTR, conversion rate, AOV, ROAS, refunds).
  • Document SOPs for product research, listing, order flow, and customer support handoffs.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years in e-commerce product research and store setup (Amazon/Shopify/Daraz or similar).
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills (costing, break-even, margin calculator).
  • Working knowledge of keyword research, listing SEO, and basic PPC structure.
  • Experience with supplier outreach and sample/quality checks.
  • Clear written communication and a process-driven work style.

Nice to Have

  • Photo editing or basic design for listing images.
  • Experience with Pakistan payment gateways and local couriers.
  • Familiarity with order management tools and inventory workflows.

Tools You're Comfortable With

Shopify or WooCommerce, Google Sheets/Excel, keyword tools, listing optimizers, analytics (GA4 or platform analytics).

What Success Looks Like (First 60–90 Days)

  • 10–15 vetted product opportunities with data-backed scorecards.
  • 3–5 products launched with clean listings and optimized pricing.
  • Store live with payment + shipping fully tested.
  • Reporting sheet in place for daily sales, margin, and ad spend.
