Key Responsibilities

  • Optimize and manage Google Business Profiles (GBP/Google Maps) — descriptions, images, posts, and reviews.
  • Conduct local SEO audits to identify visibility gaps and opportunities.
  • Implement on-page SEO strategies (metadata, schema, content optimization).
  • Build local citations and backlinks across relevant directories.
  • Track and report rankings, impressions, calls, leads, and conversions.
  • Work closely with the sales team to onboard new clients and create optimization plans.
  • Prepare monthly SEO performance reports with clear KPIs.
  • Stay updated on local SEO trends and Google algorithm updates.
  • Utilize automation tools like Zapier, Make, Twilio, and call-tracking software.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of SEO experience (local SEO strongly preferred).
  • Proven success in ranking businesses on Google Maps / Local Pack.
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • Google Business Profile optimization
  • Google Analytics & Search Console
  • SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, BrightLocal, Ubersuggest, etc.
  • Knowledge of schema markup, backlinks, citations, and reputation management.
  • Experience with call tracking systems and lead attribution (preferred).
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills (Google Data Studio / Looker).
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Organized, self-driven, and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
