collection, automotive, and logistics. When building software and hardware, you go through many stages, from initial requirements to product launch. It's crucial to ensure that everything works according to specifications, which is why we're seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer with a focus on hardware.

Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Embedded QA Engineer with over 1 years of experience in hardware quality assurance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded systems, automation, and Python scripting, as well as experience with IoT hardware and cloud platforms. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of both embedded software and hardware products through meticulous testing and debugging.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hardware QA: Perform hands-on testing and debugging of IoT hardware, including sensors, RF modules, GPS/GNSS, and communication devices. Ensure the reliability of embedded hardware systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into comprehensive test plans.
  • Create and maintain Python scripts for automated testing of embedded systems.
  • Utilize cloud platforms for testing and validation of IoT devices.
  • Analyze and report test results, identify bugs, and work with the development team to resolve issues.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for embedded systems.
  • Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases after consulting with developers.
  • Identify field issues, reproduce them in the lab, and report them to the Software Development Team.
  • Answer technical customer support queries.

Skills Required:

  • 1+ years of experience in Embedded QA with a strong focus on both hardware and software testing.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes for both software and hardware systems.
  • Proficiency in Python scripting for test automation.
  • Hands-on experience with IoT hardware, including debugging and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of embedded communication protocols (e.g., UART, I2C, SPI).
  • Proficient in C/C++, with experience using IDEs, compilers, and linkers.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and their integration with IoT devices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Manual QA tools: Jira, Test Rail, JMeter, Postman.
  • Automation QA tools: Selenium, Cypress.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (IT, Electronics), or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in embedded quality assurance, with a focus on both hardware and software.
  • 1+ years of experience in writing automated test scripts.
  • Experience with Docker, microservices architecture, CI/CD is a plus.
  • Experience in AI, ML, and image processing is advantageous.
