Business Developer Intern

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Business Development Intern to support our team in acquiring clients and onboarding digital projects from platforms like Upwork and other freelance or direct sources. This 45 to 90 days onsite internship is ideal for individuals eager to learn the ins and outs of business development in the digital services industry, with the possibility of a full-time job offer upon successful completion and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in identifying and bidding on suitable projects on Upwork and similar platforms that align with our company's services and goals.
- Help draft customized proposals and presentations under the guidance of the business development team.
- Conduct basic market research and competitor analysis to support outreach initiatives.
- Coordinate with internal teams to understand project requirements and assist in preparing accurate estimates.
- Support follow-up communications with leads and help achieve lead-generation and conversion goals.
- Keep detailed records of sales activities using CRM tools.
- Assist in optimizing the company's presence on freelance platforms to boost visibility and inquiries.
- Participate in virtual meetings, document minutes, and assist with client communication.
- Look for potential upselling or cross-selling opportunities within ongoing projects
Requirements:
- Recent graduate or final-year student available for a full-time onsite internship (45 days).
- Familiarity with freelance platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, or Fiverr is a plus.
- Strong interest in digital services such as web development, graphic design, SEO, UI/UX, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to take initiative.
- Basic knowledge of CRM or project management tools (preferred but not required).
