Role Description

We are looking for an experienced AI Software Engineer to design and develop intelligent features such as Co-pilot-style assistants, AI agents, document understanding (OCR), and machine vision within our in-house business applications. This role is ideal for someone with a builder mindset, strong coding skills, and hands-on experience with LLMs and Microsoft Azure AI services, particularly in integrating AI into production-ready applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement AI-powered features (Co-pilot, agents, OCR, chat-based tools).
  • Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT-4o using Azure OpenAI.
  • Build intelligent workflows with LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or Azure Bot Framework.
  • Work with Azure Document Intelligence (or similar tools) for OCR/data extraction.
  • Develop backend services and APIs to embed AI features into web, mobile, and ERP apps.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure smooth UI/UX integration.
  • Conduct prompt tuning, testing, performance optimization, and POC development.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

  • Hands-on experience with LLMs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, etc.)
  • Strong programming in Python and/or C#/.NET
  • Familiarity with Azure Bot, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or agentic AI frameworks
  • Experience with OCR tools (Azure Document Intelligence, Tesseract, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs, backend architecture, and system integration
  • Good understanding of business processes and data flows

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience building Microsoft Teams bots or Co-pilot experiences (Azure Bot Framework, Co-pilot Studio)
  • Knowledge of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and vector databases (FAISS, Azure AI Search)
  • Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, or SharePoint
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, etc.)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 2–4 years of experience developing production-ready software
  • Portfolio or project examples of AI feature development (preferred)
