Description
  • Conduct quality review of all CIBG Units with a view to ensure existing stipulated standards are being adhered in accordance to the SOP, PPG, APPM, OPMs.
  • Reporting of review outcome with the units and Delivery managers for timely review and feedback
  • Recommend and ensure implementation of corrective action plans to continuously improve and enhance the standard processes.
  • Perform and manage MI/Reports of the unit or as directed by the Manager
Responsibilities
  • Review of Operations' processes, procedures, MIS, systems and policies for all CIBG Operation's Unit with a view to provide assurance from quality perspective. The objective is to recognize and surface any unrecognized operational, reputational, regulatory risk and recommend as well as ensure implementation of appropriate corrective steps.
  • Ensure Quality reviews are being conducted as per the defined SOP and grid and also work with each unit to ensure "Satisfactory' audit rating.
  • Timely release of Dash Board & reports.
  • Assist the Delivery Mangers to conduct certification for the processing units (Maker, Checkers) while onboarding and as well when needed.
  • Establish cordial working relationship with relevant internal customers to understand roles and develop mutual understanding in order to facilitate communication and their acceptance on the review findings.
  • Review audit reports to be the focal point for smooth performance of audits and examinations with a view to implement better controls.
  • Review of RCSA controls across units to ensure alignment with the RCSA guidelines
  • Handling of Unit/productivity/Performance MI and Reports for timely preparation and reporting. 
  • Adherence of SLA & TAT for activities are critical with no breaches
  • CIBG Operations processing is carried out as per the Process Frame work, in conjunction with the Bank – Operating documents vide SOP, PPF, APPM, OPM etc.,
  • The scope of work encompasses quality review of CIBG units i.e. policies, processes / procedures, and system covering all CIBG Units.
  • Regular and frequent interaction with CIBG Process owners, their direct reports and the respective delivery managers.
  • To ensure that risks associated with CIBG processes and compliance to the stipulated standards, system and procedures are appropriately recognized and reported.
  • All highlighted risks and issues are to be mitigated / alleviated through appropriate recommendation of suitable controls, which should not add unnecessary layers, costs, turnaround time but yet yield desired results.
  • To provide adequate solutions to erroneous processes highlighted during the review process.
  • To review standard operating procedures and system manuals periodically. This will ensure process risks are under control.
  • To identify key risks in process during reviews and highlight to Senior Management to drive enhancements and mitigate the risks identified
  • Creation of risk rating matrix and decision on allocation of appropriate risk rating to the various CIBG Operating units.
  • Recommend changes in CIBG Ops operating standards and processes to align with current way of performing the activities and alignment with policies and system design.
  • Ensure successful implantation of above changes in close coordination with the operating units.
  • Create robust refresher training modules for existing team to align with changes to SOP
Qualifications
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all host systems & other operating systems in the Bank.
  • In Depth knowledge in one or more of Corporate & Investment Banking process such as Account opening, Account Maintenance and/or KYC
  • At least 5-7 Years of experience in any Corporate segment process and core operations experience would be preferable.
  • MIS and systems and related processes understanding.
  • Good Verbal / written communication & computer skills.
  • Team Lead is expected to manage various team activities,  rostering & effective back-up for Manager
  • Alignment with Bank's core values and embed right culture for seamless delivery
