Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL, etc.).
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and security.
  • Experience of deploying LAMP stack, Python, and MERN stack applications on staging instances (Proxmox VM )
  • Configure and troubleshoot services such as Apache, Nginx, MySQL/MariaDB, SSH, FTP, DNS, and email servers.
  • Experience in bash scripts to improve operational efficiency.
  • Perform regular updates, patching, and upgrades of operating systems and applications.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
  • Implement backup and recovery strategies.
  • Manage firewalls, switches, routers, and other networking equipment.
  • Implement and monitor network security policies LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
  • Collaborate with development and support teams for deployments.
  • Handle domain registration, renewals, and DNS management.
