We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior System Administrator to join our IT team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow in system administration by working closely with the Senior System Architect and gaining hands-on experience with diverse technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure.
  • Manage Active Directory (users, computers, group policies, security groups).
  • Administer file servers (permissions, quotas, data integrity).
  • Apply and troubleshoot Group Policy Objects (GPOs) for security and standardization.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Veeam backup and replication.
  • Assist in managing VMware vSphere/ESXi (VM provisioning, resource allocation).
  • Provide RDP support for end-users (connectivity and application issues).
  • Monitor system performance and support issue resolution.
  • Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–2 years of experience in IT support or system administration.
  • Strong understanding of Active Directory and file server management.
  • Hands-on knowledge of GPOs, Veeam, and VMware vSphere/ESXi.
  • Experience with RDP end-user support.
  • Basic Linux administration knowledge.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
