Objective:

The role of Project coordinator will play an important role in streamlining processes between sales and production teams leveraging financial expertise, coordination skills, and effective communication to streamline processes and ensure smooth project execution.

The role is requires 70% project management and coordination skills. We are looking for a female resource for this role.

Job Description:

  • Reconcile general and subsidiary bank accounts by gathering and balancing financial data.
  • Maintain general ledger accounts by reconciling accounts receivable, accounts payable, control accounts, retainage, fixed assets, depreciation, and accruals.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports to provide clear insights on project and organizational financial status.
  • Post adjusting journal entries to correct errors and ensure financial accuracy.
  • Ensure accounting controls are maintained by adhering to company policies and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Secure financial data by performing regular backups and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Stay updated with financial best practices and industry knowledge through professional development and educational resources.
  • Act as a liaison between Sales and Production teams, coordinating workflows to streamline processes and ensure smooth handovers.
  • Support project execution by identifying issues, proposing solutions, and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Assist with special projects, financial tasks, and reporting as assigned by the reporting manager.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure overall organizational goals are achieved.

Requirement:

  • Education: Bachelor degree, preferably in accounting and finance
  • Experience: 2-3 years of relevant work experience in a global organization

Skillset:

  • Good understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Project Management skills
