About the Opportunity

Pakwheels is Pakistan's largest automotive marketplace, serving millions of buyers, sellers, and enthusiasts every month. We are offering an intensive three-month Product Internship designed for recent graduates or career starters who want to break into product management. You will work side-by-side with an experienced product mentor and a full cross-functional squad design, engineering, growth, and analytics on real features that go live to our user base. Exceptional performance and a final evaluation at the end of the programme can earn you a full-time Associate Product Manager role.

What You Will Learn and Do

  • Dive into platform analytics (GA4, BigQuery) to uncover user-journey friction points and present data-backed insights.

    Shadow user-interview sessions and help synthesise findings into problem statements, personas, and JTBD artefacts.
  • Draft low-fidelity wireframes and user-story outlines in Figma or Miro, refining them with guidance from UX/UI designers.
  • Write concise PRD snippets and acceptance criteria, then participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and QA sessions.
  • Instrument features with tracking events, monitor KPIs post-release, and present learnings in squad retros.
  • Complete a capstone mini-project identifying a small but meaningful optimization, carrying it through discovery to live release.

What Makes You a Fit

  • Recent graduate or final-year student in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Data Science, or a related field.

    Demonstrated curiosity about digital products: side projects, hackathons, campus leadership, or a blog on tech/product topics.
  • Comfort with data basics of SDLC, pivot tables, SQL fundamentals, or experience with any analytics tool.
  • Clear written and verbal communication; ability to explain a problem, a hypothesis, and the "why" behind a feature.
  • Organised, coachable, and excited to work in a fast-moving, transparent environment where feedback is frequent.

Success Criteria & Path to APM

During the internship you will be evaluated on:

  • Insight quality depth of analysis, ability to translate data and user feedback into clear problem statements.
  • Ownership follow-through on tasks, responsiveness to feedback, and ability to unblock yourself.
  • Collaboration positive impact on designers, engineers, and marketers; clarity in meetings and documentation.
  • Delivery completion of the capstone mini-project with measurable user or business impact.
