Job Title:
 Production Engineer

One of our prestigious clients is looking for production engineer for kitchen manufacturing company in Lahore Pakistan.

The position is Lahore based with a competitive salary package.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Production Planning & Control

  2. Develop and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production plans aligned with sales forecasts and project deadlines.

  3. Manage production scheduling, capacity planning, and resource allocation (manpower, machines, materials).
  4. Monitor and control WIP (Work-in-Progress) to ensure timely completion.

2. Process Management

  • Supervise fabrication, powder coating, assembly, and packaging operations.
  • Implement lean manufacturing techniques, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and optimize throughput.
  • Establish and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for each workstation.
  • Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed for all production equipment.

3. Quality & Compliance

  • Enforce stringent quality control standards at every stage—raw material inspection, process checks, and final product verification.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Department to maintain ISO and other quality certifications.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and labor regulations.

4. People Management

  • Lead, train, and motivate a multidisciplinary team of supervisors, machine operators, and production staff.
  • Identify skill gaps and coordinate training programs for continuous workforce development.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and performance excellence.

5. Coordination & Reporting

  • Liaise with Design, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth material flow and production alignment with customer specifications.
  • Maintain detailed production reports—output, downtime, yield, and rework—for management review.

  • Participate in production meetings and provide data-driven recommendations for process improvement.

  • Qualifications & Experience

  • Education:
    Bachelor's in Mechanical / Industrial / Manufacturing Engineering (preferred).

  • Experience:
    Minimum 3
    –6 years
    in production management, with at least 1
    years in a leadership role
    within
    sheet metal fabrication, auto parts, or kitchen manufacturing
    industries.
  • Proven experience in metal forming, Press Working, NC cutting, bending, welding, powder coating, and modular assembly lines.
  • Hands-on knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and production planning software.
