Digital Marketing Intern

Studio Saffron is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Digital Marketing Intern to join our team. In this role, you will work alongside our team, gaining hands-on experience in digital marketing strategy, campaign execution, and brand-building efforts. As a valuable part of our team, you will help enhance our online presence and connect with a broader audience. This paid internship is up to three months long depending on application performance.

Responsibilities:

Digital Marketing:

Assist in planning and executing digital marketing initiatives that build brand awareness and drive engagement.

• Support in running paid digital campaigns, including social media ads and PPC, while monitoring performance to ensure goals are met.
• Help create and curate content for digital platforms, including blogs, email newsletters, and social media posts, reflecting our brand voice and objectives.
• Collaborate with various teams to support product launches, promotions, and events.
• Monitor key metrics like engagement rates, website traffic, and conversions to assess campaign performance and suggest improvements.
• Stay updated on digital marketing trends and best practices, sharing insights with the team to enhance our strategies.
• Contribute to SEO/SEM activities to boost organic rankings and support paid search initiatives.
• Assist in coordinating with designers and content creators to produce high-quality marketing assets.
• Identify and reach out to influencers and brand advocates to expand our reach and engage with new audiences.
• Help explore partnership opportunities to enhance brand visibility and credibility.

Content Creation and Management:

• Support in creating engaging content for digital channels, including social media and email.
• Schedule, publish, and monitor content, following a content calendar and maintaining consistent brand messaging.
• Encourage and support user-generated content to build brand authenticity.
• Contribute to the promotion of events, product launches, and campaigns across digital platforms.
• Analytics and Optimization:
• Assist in analyzing marketing data to identify trends and insights, guiding campaign adjustments.
• Support A/B testing initiatives for ads, landing pages, and email content to improve performance.
• Use analytics insights to help fine-tune campaign strategies and enhance outcomes.

Application Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creativity and an eye for detail in crafting engaging content.
• Basic knowledge of digital marketing principles, including SEO, PPC, and analytics.
• Familiarity with tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design software is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and/or Google Workspace.
• Basic knowledge of social media management tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite) or email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp).
• Comfortable working with analytics tools like Google Analytics or Facebook Insights.
• Understanding of A/B testing and campaign optimization is a plus.
• Experience (Preferred but not mandatory):
• Experience in content creation, social media management, or running digital campaigns is a bonus.
• Knowledge of SEO/SEM or influencer marketing strategies is a plus.

Additional Information:

• Working Hours: 9am - 6pm, Monday-Friday.
• Internship Duration: 6 months.
• Stipend: Rs15, Rs30,000.00 per month (based on experience and practical assessment results).
• Must be based in Karachi, Pakistan, and comfortable commuting to the office in Defence Phase 6.
• Internship may lead to a longer term rolling contract.
• Conversational-level proficiency in English for communication and content creation.
• Internship candidates will be required to do a short practical assessment.
