Role Overview

The Manager Finance & Taxation will oversee core financial operations, compliance, and taxation matters. The role involves managing statutory reporting, tax planning, and ensuring adherence to financial regulations while supporting strategic business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead accounting and finance operations including GL, AP, AR, and reconciliations.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
  • Oversee preparation and filing of income tax, sales tax, and withholding tax returns.
  • Liaise with tax authorities for assessments, audits, and compliance matters.
  • Develop and implement internal financial controls and reporting systems.
  • Prepare management reports, forecasts, and cash flow analyses.
  • Support strategic decision-making through financial modelling and scenario analysis.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and consultants.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, SECP, FBR, and other regulatory frameworks.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • CA (Part Qualified) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, and taxation.
  • Strong knowledge of Pakistan tax laws, IFRS, and compliance frameworks.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Experience in agriculture, FMCG, or manufacturing sectors preferred.
