Job Title: IT Associate

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for general IT inquiries and provide technical support to users.
  • Manage the ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and closure of user tickets in line with the specified Service Level Agreement (SLA).
  • Ensure the smooth operation of IT equipment, including computers, laptops, printers, and other devices.
  • Review, procure, and install approved hardware in accordance with organizational standards. Maintain an accurate and up-to-date IT inventory.
  • Perform routine network startup and shutdown procedures as required.
  • Provide basic troubleshooting and repairs for laptops, computers, and software
  • installations.
  • Possess foundational knowledge of servers, switches, and routers.
  • Safeguard data, ensure network security, and manage backup systems.
  • Provide backup support for networking components, including router, firewall, and
  • wireless access points.
  • Assist with IT procurement processes, including gathering quotes or servicing equipment
  • from suppliers.
  • Have a basic understanding of domain, Active Directory, and user management.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in IT support is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Windows and Mac OS is essential, with Linux knowledge as an added
  • advantage.
  • Education Bachelors (CS/IT/SE)
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role is mandatory.
  • Certifications: CCNA certification or relevant training is a plus point.
