Job Overview:
Mashed Bytes is looking for a passionate and motivated
Back-End Developer (Ruby on Rails)
to join our growing development team.

We're seeking a recent graduate or developer with up to
2 years of experience
in building and maintaining scalable web applications.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Developing server-side logic
  • Ensuring high performance and responsiveness
  • Collaborating closely with front-end developers to deliver seamless, high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize back-end systems using
    Ruby on Rails
    .
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
  • Design and implement
    RESTful APIs
    for web and mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure smooth integration between client and server.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks, debug issues, and implement effective solutions.
  • Write and maintain technical documentation for back-end systems and APIs.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of experience in Ruby on Rails development.
  • Strong understanding of
    object-oriented programming
    and
    relational databases
    (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
  • Experience with version control systems (
    Git
    ).
  • Basic familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with
    cloud platforms
    (AWS, Heroku).
  • Knowledge of
    containerization tools
    (Docker).
  • Familiarity with
    CI/CD pipelines
    and automated testing frameworks.
