Job Responsibilities:


• Study customer contracts.


• Evaluate tax implications on invoicing.


• Prepare and dispatch invoices ensuring timely billing cycles.


• Follow up on outstanding receivables to ensure timely clearance and maintain healthy cash flow.


• File monthly and quarterly sales tax returns in compliance with regulatory requirements.


• Maintain and update the receivables report, including entry of all new client agreements and payment terms.


• Reconcile receivables report with the sales pipeline to ensure alignment between invoiced revenue and projected revenue.


• Post all invoices and receipts into the relevant General Ledger (GL) accounts, ensuring accurate financial records.


• Provide weekly receivables updates to senior management, including:

– Status of received payments

– Expected receipts

– Upcoming invoices

– Any delays or hurdles impacting collections


• Collaborate with sales team to resolve discrepancies and ensure revenue recognition is accurate.


• Support audit and compliance processes by maintaining organized documentation

Qualification:


• Minimum ACCA qualified or CA finalist.


• 3 to 4 years of articles experience in accounting firm or finance department of an IT company


• In-depth knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis techniques.


• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (GAAP/IFRS).


• Strong understanding of tax laws and corporate laws.


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.


• Advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office suite especially Microsoft Excel.


• Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.


• Strong ethical standards and commitment to financial integrity.


• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
