Key Responsibilities:
Assist in Electrical System Maintenance
- Support the maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical panels, motors, and wiring systems across the rice mill.
- Ensure proper functioning of PLCs, VFDs, and control systems used in the milling process.
Plant Equipment Monitoring
- Monitor the performance of key machinery such as huskers, polishers, elevators, and dryers.
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend preventive maintenance measures.
Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
- Participate in scheduled maintenance activities to minimize unplanned downtime.
- Maintain logs and records of routine inspections, repairs, and servicing.
Support Utility Operations
- Assist in managing power distribution, generators, compressors, and other plant utilities.
- Ensure continuous power supply and monitor energy usage to optimize efficiency.
Safety Compliance
- Follow and promote safety standards in all electrical and mechanical operations.
- Assist in hazard identification and the implementation of corrective measures.
Technical Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain equipment history sheets and prepare daily maintenance reports.
- Assist in root cause analysis (RCA) for breakdowns and help implement corrective actions.
Coordination with Other Departments
- Work closely with production and quality control teams to ensure machinery supports operational goals.
- Provide timely support to reduce downtime and increase plant output.
