Role Description

Financial Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and implement
    financial strategies
    that support the company's long-term business objectives and growth.
  • Manage the annual
    budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
    processes.
  • Provide financial analysis, risk assessment, and strategic recommendations to the executive team.
  • Oversee
    cash flow management, treasury functions, and financial risk management
    .

Accounting & Reporting

  • Direct all accounting operations, including the
    General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll
    .
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual
    financial statements
    in accordance with
    GAAP/[Local Accounting Standards, e.g., IFRS]
    .
  • Establish and maintain robust
    internal controls
    and financial procedures to safeguard company assets.
  • Lead the coordination of external audits and manage relationships with auditors.

Tax Compliance & Planning

  • Develop and execute
    corporate tax strategies
    to ensure compliance and optimize the company's tax position (e.g., income, sales, VAT, import/export taxes).
  • Oversee the timely and accurate preparation and filing of all
    federal, state and reports
    .
  • Manage all tax audits and inquiries from regulatory authorities.
  • Stay current on changes in
    tax legislation
    and accounting standards, and assess their impact on the business.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Financial Statements, Financial Reporting, and Budgeting
  • Strong Finance knowledge and Analytical Skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement financial strategies to achieve organizational goals
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills to manage financial teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (a professional certification like CPA or ACCA is an advantage)
  • Experience in the food and beverage industry is a plus
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements
