Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Management Trainee Engineer - MTE to join our transformer manufacturing team. This position offers hands-on exposure to the design, development, testing, and production of transformers under the mentorship of experienced engineers. The ideal candidate will actively support manufacturing processes, ensure quality standards, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Development:

  • Assist in designing electrical components and systems for transformers.
  • Participate in schematic analysis, layout review, and component selection.

Manufacturing Support:

  • Support the production team by resolving technical issues on the shop floor.
  • Ensure processes align with manufacturing best practices and quality standards.

Testing & Quality Assurance:

  • Conduct and document electrical and performance tests on transformer prototypes and components.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal quality benchmarks.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Prepare technical documentation, including test reports, modifications, and improvement records.
  • Maintain accurate records of testing procedures and outcomes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with design engineers, quality control, and production teams.
  • Participate in cross-departmental meetings to streamline workflows and troubleshoot issues.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Analyze data to identify inefficiencies in design or production.
  • Propose and support implementation of corrective and preventive measures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or final year of study.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, MATLAB) and testing tools.
  • Basic Knowledge: Understanding of transformer working principles and components.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to assess and resolve engineering issues efficiently.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical reporting and team collaboration.
  • Teamwork: Willingness to learn and work in a multidisciplinary environment.
