Job Title: Content Writer Head

Department: Marketing

Reports To: Marketing Manager / Director

Job Summary:

The Content Writer Head will lead the content team in creating, managing, and optimizing high-quality written material that aligns with the company's brand voice and marketing goals. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional writing, editing, and leadership skills to drive content initiatives across multiple platforms, including digital, print, and social media.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of content writers, editors, and freelancers.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with company objectives.
  • Oversee the creation of engaging, SEO-friendly, and original content for websites, blogs, newsletters, and social media.
  • Ensure brand consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all content.
  • Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to support campaigns and promotional activities.
  • Edit and proofread content to maintain high editorial standards.
  • Analyze content performance using analytics tools and optimize strategies accordingly.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, digital marketing practices, and emerging content formats.
  • Conduct keyword research and implement best SEO practices in content planning.
  • Mentor and train content team members to enhance their skills and productivity.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in content writing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, keyword research, and content optimization.
  • Experience in developing content strategies and managing editorial calendars.
  • Proficiency with content management systems (CMS) and analytics tools (e.g., WordPress, Google Analytics).
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and approaches.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in managing international or cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing, PPC, and social media strategy.
  • Basic understanding of graphic design or video content workflows.
