Job Description:

  • Key Responsibilities

    Plan, design, and conduct quantitative and qualitative research projects within the system.

    Create surveys, interview protocols, FGD guides, and other research instruments tailored to project needs.

    Use statistical software and visualization tools to clean, analyze, and interpret data for actionable insights.

    Prepare concise, visually engaging reports and presentations for decision-makers using tools such as Excel and Canva.

    Engage with senior leadership, school heads, and external research partners to ensure project alignment and timely delivery.

    Establish and maintain collaborations with external researchers, academic institutions, and research networks.

    Lead the development, review, and submission of research proposals for internal and external funding opportunities.

  • Skills Required

    Proficient in designing, conducting, and analyzing quantitative and qualitative research in education.

    Skilled in creating surveys, interviews and FGD guides, and other research instruments.

    Advanced proficiency in Excel, and other analytical tools for cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing data.

    Ability to produce clear, concise, and visually engaging reports for decision-makers, using Canva.

    Skilled in liaising with senior leadership, school heads, and external research partners.

    Experience in planning, coordinating, and delivering multiple research projects simultaneously.

    Excellent verbal and written communication in English; capable of presenting findings to diverse audiences.

    High accuracy in data interpretation, documentation, and adherence to ethical research standards.

  • Education

    MPhil or Master's degree in Economics, Education, Social Sciences, or a related field.

  • Experience

    Minimum 5 years in research, data analysis, or programme evaluation.

    Proven track record of managing research projects.

  • Technical Skills

    Strong data visualization skills using Excel, Tableau, or similar tools.

  • Analytical Ability

    Capability to translate raw data into actionable insights for leadership.

  • Ethics & Compliance

    Understanding of research ethics, safeguarding protocols, and data privacy laws.

  • Adaptability

    Ability to work on diverse topics, from classroom innovation to large-scale policy research.
