Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled IBM Cloud Pak for Integration (CP4I) Administrator with OpenShift expertise to manage and support integration platforms in a hybrid cloud environment. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in CP4I components (API Connect, MQ, ACE, DataPower, Event Streams) combined with strong administration of Red Hat OpenShift clusters.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, upgrade, and administer CP4I components (API Connect, ACE, MQ, Event Streams, DataPower) on OpenShift.
  • Manage OpenShift clusters including: Cluster provisioning and scaling Storage, networking, and ingress controllers Role-based access control (RBAC) and security policies Perform lifecycle management: patching, backup, disaster recovery, and monitoring of CP4I and OpenShift.
  • Deploy and manage CP4I operators, Helm charts, and YAML configurations.
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of integration workloads.
  • Implement and monitor observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration/platform issues (L2/L3 support).
  • Automate repetitive tasks using Ansible, Tekton, ArgoCD, or Terraform.
  • Work closely with developers, DevOps, and security teams to support CI/CD pipelines and secure integration services.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and operational runbooks.

Job Required Skills:

  • Experience Proven hands-on experience with IBM Cloud Pak for Integration administration.
  • Strong OpenShift/Kubernetes administration skills (operators, scaling, security, networking).
  • Proficiency with API Connect, MQ, ACE, DataPower, and Event Streams.
  • Knowledge of Helm charts, Operators, and GitOps practices.
  • Solid background in Linux system administration and shell scripting.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Tekton).
  • Experience with security practices (TLS/SSL, OAuth, LDAP/AD, IAM).
  • Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications IBM Certified Administrator – Cloud Pak for Integration.
  • Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration.
  • Exposure to hybrid cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP with CP4I).
  • Experience with service mesh (Istio/Envoy) and container security tools.
