Role Overview:

The Salesforce Data Cloud Developer will design, develop, and implement solutions leveraging Salesforce Data Cloud (Customer Data Platform). This role involves building custom applications, integrations, and data pipelines to unify and activate customer data for personalized engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement solutions using Salesforce Data Cloud (Customer Data Platform).
  • Configure data streams, identity resolution, and data harmonization processes.
  • Build and optimize data models for unified customer profiles.
  • Develop integrations with external systems using APIs, ETL tools, and connectors.
  • Set up pipelines for ingesting data from multiple sources (CRM, ERP, marketing platforms).
  • Apply transformation logic to ensure data quality and consistency.
  • Configure identity resolution rules to merge customer records.
  • Create segments and audiences for personalized marketing and analytics.
  • Implement data governance, privacy, and compliance standards (GDPR, CCPA).
  • Ensure secure handling of PII and sensitive data.
  • Monitor and optimize Data Cloud performance for large-scale data sets.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data ingestion or activation issues.
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, and IT teams to align data strategies.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, workflows, and integrations.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Marketing Cloud Personalization (Interaction Studio).
  • Knowledge of ETL tools, data segmentation, and activation strategies.
