Key Responsibilities

Pre-Production Planning

  • Collaborate with the marketing, creative, and design teams to brainstorm and develop video concepts, storyboards, and campaign ideas.
  • Scout and manage shoot locations while ensuring the setup aligns with brand aesthetics.
  • Plan and prepare all necessary shoot elements including lighting, camera setups, wardrobe coordination, and props.
  • Stay updated with fashion video trends and recommend innovative ideas to keep DRAPPY content fresh and relevant.

Production (Shooting)

  • Independently operate professional video equipment (cameras, gimbals, lights, microphones, etc.) to capture high-quality footage.
  • Shoot brand campaigns, lookbooks, product showcases, social media content, and behind-the-scenes videos.
  • Direct models, stylists, and other creative collaborators on set to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Ensure optimal lighting, composition, and framing in all video captures.

Post-Production (Editing)

  • Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos aligned with DRAPPY's brand tone and storytelling style.
  • Handle video color grading, retouching, sound editing, and background music selection.
  • Add motion graphics, typography, transitions, and special effects when required.
  • Adapt and repurpose content into different formats for digital ads, social media reels, YouTube, website, and campaigns.

Content Management

  • Organize, label, and archive all video files, raw footage, and project assets for easy access and reuse.
  • Manage video libraries and maintain consistency across platforms.

Quality & Brand Control

  • Ensure all videos reflect DRAPPY's fashion-forward, high-street brand image.
  • Review final outputs for technical precision, storytelling quality, and brand alignment.
  • Continuously experiment with new editing techniques and creative approaches to elevate content standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a
    Videographer/Video Editor
    , preferably in the fashion, lifestyle, or creative industry.
  • Strong proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar).
  • Solid knowledge of lighting, sound recording, and camera operation.
  • Skilled in color correction, sound design, and motion graphics.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating ability to produce high-quality and creative video content.
  • Ability to work independently and handle end-to-end video production.
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to translate brand vision into compelling visuals.
  • Flexibility to work on shoots both indoors and outdoors, sometimes with short turnaround times.
