About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled
Network & Systems Engineer
to manage, maintain, and optimize our IT infrastructure across multiple retail locations and the head office. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless connectivity, system reliability, and data security to support daily retail operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks across retail outlets and offices.
  • Manage servers, storage, and virtualization platforms (Windows/Linux environments).
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Implement and maintain IT security measures, firewalls, and data backup systems.
  • Provide support for POS systems, retail applications, and integration with ERP solutions.
  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers for hardware/software procurement and maintenance.
  • Maintain documentation of IT infrastructure, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure system scalability and high availability to support growing retail operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of proven experience as a Network/System Engineer (retail industry experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, routers, and switches.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, and virtualization tools (VMware/Hyper-V).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/Google Cloud) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
