PCHF is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting children with Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) by providing financial assistance, spreading awareness, and improving healthcare infrastructure for pediatric cardiac care in Pakistan. 

Position Overview

The Marketing Communications Specialist will play a vital role in enhancing PCHF's brand presence, managing media relations, executing PR campaigns, and building strategic collaborations with partners, influencers, and organizations. The ideal candidate is creative, proactive, and passionate about using marketing for social good. 

Key Responsibilities

1. Marketing & Brand Communication

  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns (digital and offline) to raise awareness about CHD and PCHF initiatives.
  • Create compelling content for social media, newsletters, and marketing materials.
  • Support design, branding, and storytelling efforts that highlight impact and success stories.

2. Media & Public Relations

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
  • Draft and distribute press releases, media kits, and event invitations.
  • Coordinate interviews, press conferences, and media coverage for campaigns and events.

3. Partnerships & Collaborations

  • Identify and pursue strategic partnerships with corporations, NGOs, and educational institutions for co-branded campaigns, sponsorships, and CSR collaborations.
  • Support planning and execution of joint marketing activities and awareness events.

4. Events & Campaigns

  • Assist in planning and promoting fundraising events, awareness walks, and donor engagement initiatives.
  • Ensure brand consistency and effective communication across all platforms and events.

5. Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing and PR campaigns.
  • Analyze engagement data and suggest improvements for future initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in marketing, PR, or partnerships (NGO or healthcare experience preferred).
  • Strong communication and writing skills (English and Urdu).
  • Experience with media relations, campaign planning, and content creation.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tools, social media management, and Canva/Adobe tools.
  • Passion for social causes and storytelling that drives impact.
