Highly skilled and experienced senior project manager to lead the project team and ensure the successful delivery of complex and challenging projects. Responsible for overseeing all aspects of project management, from planning and execution to monitoring and closure, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Tasks:

  • Develop detailed IT project plans to track progress and ensure resource availability and allocation.

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.

  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.

  • Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.

  • Report and escalate to management as needed.

  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Qualifications:

1) Education/Training : - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. (8 points)

  • A project management qualification, such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE II certification) (2 points)

2) Language:

  • English (4 points) and Urdu (3 points) at C1 level (based on CEFR levels) - 1 out of 4 experts with Punjabi (1 points), 1 out of 4 experts with Sindhi (1 points), 1 out of 4 experts with Pashto(1 points) at C1 level

3) General Professional Experience :

  • 5 years of working experience as a senior project IT manager in the information technology sector (7 points).

  • 3 years of working experience with agile methodologies (3 points) .

4) Specific Professional Experience : - 3 years experience working on social protection IT projects (7 points)

  • 1 years' experience working on government IT projects (3 points)

5) Leadership/Management Experience : - 2 years experience of leading a team Not required 6) Professional experience in the country/region of assignment :

  • 5 years' experience working in Pakistan as a Senior IT Project Manager (7 points) - 2 years of working experience working with government social protection agencies (3 points)

8) Development cooperation experience : - 1 years of working experience in development cooperation projects
