Key Responsibilities

  • On-Page SEO: Assist with optimizing page content, titles, meta descriptions, and images for search engines to enhance website rankings.
  • Technical SEO: Support the team in technical SEO audits, ensuring site crawlability, and applying necessary fixes to enhance website health and performance.
  • Keyword Research: Conduct keyword research to find opportunities for new content and optimization of existing pages, ensuring a high rank in search engines.
  • Content Strategy: Assist with content creation and optimization to improve user engagement, including blog posts, product descriptions, and site-wide content updates.
  • Backlinking & Link Building: Support backlink strategy through outreach, guest posting, and establishing relationships with websites to boost domain authority.
  • E-Commerce Optimization: Implement SEO strategies for improving eBay listings, product visibility, and customer conversion rates.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Help generate reports using Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Google Search Console to track performance and suggest improvements.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and product managers, to ensure SEO strategies align with business objectives.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on SEO experience, particularly in eCommerce SEO, including eBay optimization.
  • Proficiency in SEO tools such as SEMrush, MOZ, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console.
  • Experience using Google Sheets, MS Office, and content management systems like WordPress or Shopify.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Understanding of on-page SEO strategies (metadata, keywords, internal linking).
  • Knowledge of technical SEO (site audits, crawling, and site speed optimization).
  • Familiarity with schema markup and its role in improving search engine visibility.
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Digital Marketing, or related fields (or pursuing).
  • Certifications in SEO, eCommerce, and/or MS Office (desirable).
  • Key Strengths:
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret SEO data and insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Enthusiastic about the digital space with a keen interest in eCommerce and tech-driven solutions.
