Responsibilities:

  • Daily Accounting Operations: Record and post financial transactions in the accounting system.– Maintain ledgers for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting.– Process vendor invoices, payment vouchers, and supporting documentation.
  • Bank & Ledger Reconciliations: Perform daily/weekly/monthly bank reconciliations for the Poultry Division.– Reconcile internal ledgers with bank statements, vendor balances, and inter-company entries.– Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Cash Flow & Payments Support: Assist in preparing daily and monthly cash flow reports.– Coordinate with the treasury team for timely payments.– Track and record incoming/outgoing vouchers and poultry-related payments.
  • Inventory & Costing Support: Maintain accurate records for feed, chicks, supplies, and farm inventory.– Assist in basic costing, stock movement tracking, and consumption reporting.– Support monthly stock audits and variance analysis.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Prepare monthly financial reports and supporting schedules.– Maintain organized documentation for audit and compliance purposes.– Assist internal and external auditors with required information.
  • Coordination & Compliance: Liaise with farm operations, procurement, finance teams, and vendors for data reconciliation.– Ensure compliance with company SOPs and accounting standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Commerce (BBA, BS Accounting & Finance).
  • Part-qualified professional certifications preferred:
  • – ACCA (Part-qualified)– ICMA (Part-qualified)– CAF (ICAP)

Experience:

  • 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in FMCG, poultry, manufacturing, or agriculture sectors.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong command of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables, formatting).
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, etc.).
  • Good understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
