Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Server Administrator Linux at the Punjab Food Authority. The position is based in Lahore. The Server Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Linux servers, including system administration, troubleshooting, and technical support. This role will involve installing, configuring, and maintaining operating systems and server software. The Administrator will also be tasked with monitoring server performance, ensuring system security, and managing updates and patches.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Server Administration and System Administration
  • Strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills
  • Experience with Operating Systems, particularly Linux
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively on-site and under pressure
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Relevant certifications such as RHCSA/RHCE or similar are an advantage
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
