About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Network Administrator with strong hands-on expertise in Linux environments and virtualization technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, securing, and optimizing our network infrastructure while ensuring high availability and performance of network, servers and virtualized systems.

Key Responsibilities

Administer, configure, and troubleshoot Linux-based servers and systems.

Manage and maintain virtualization platforms (VMware/KVM/Proxmox).

Monitor and ensure network performance, availability, and security across all systems.

Implement and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.

Hands on with firewalls like Fortinet, Cisco ASA or pfsense.

Managing the L3 manageable switches.

Can manage and deploy the security cameras.

Perform regular system updates, backups, and patch management.

Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching issues.

Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and best practices.

Provide technical support and documentation for internal teams.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new network solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).

4–5 years of experience in network/system administration.

Strong expertise in Linux administration (CentOS, Ubuntu, Red Hat, or similar).

Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (VMware ESXi, KVM, Proxmox, or similar).

Solid understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, etc.).

Experience with firewalls, routers, switches, and network monitoring tools.

Familiarity with scripting (Bash, Python, or PowerShell) is a plus.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Relevant certifications (e.g., RHCE, CCNA, VCP) will be a plus.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is an advantage
