At TechCog, we specialize in delivering innovative digital solutions across software development, design, and technology consulting. We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Business Developer (BD) who is responsible, takes ownership of their work, and plays a key role in expanding our client base through both traditional and digital platforms.

𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘀 & 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

  • Take complete ownership of the business development process from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Generate leads and acquire clients from freelancing platforms like Upwork, Freelancer. com, People per hour, and other marketplaces.
  • Manage and optimize Upwork profile & proposals to increase visibility and conversion rate.
  • Execute targeted LinkedIn outreach campaigns for both B2B and B2C client acquisition.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across local and international markets.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
  • Conduct competitor and market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, design, operations) to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Represent TechCog at online/offline client meetings, industry events, and professional networks.
  • Maintain accurate client data, proposals, and communication records in CRM tools.

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, SE or related to field
  • 2+ years of experience in business development, sales (preferably in IT/software services).
  • Hands-on experience with freelancing platforms (Upwork, etc.) for lead generation
  • Strong understanding of Upwork profile optimization, bidding strategies, and proposal writing.
  • Experience in LinkedIn B2B & B2C lead generation and outreach campaigns.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • A responsible professional who takes ownership of tasks and drives them to successful completion.
  • Ability to build long-term relationships and maintain client satisfaction.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
