We are looking for a
detail-oriented QA Engineer
who has hands-on experience testing healthcare or medical billing applications and understands the unique challenges of the industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute
    test plans, test cases, and test scripts
    for web and mobile applications.
  • Perform
    functional, regression, integration, API, UI/UX, and end-to-end testing
    .
  • Validate workflows related to
    medical billing, claims submission, and payer rules
    (preferred).
  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to ensure high-quality releases.
  • Identify, log, and track defects using tools like
    JIRA, Azure DevOps, Trello, or similar
    .
  • Validate data accuracy for
    RCM workflows
    , including patient data, insurance data, charges, and claim status.
  • Participate in
    Sprint planning, daily standups, and QA sign-off cycles
    .
  • Perform API testing using
    Postman, Swagger, or similar tools
    .
  • Ensure all QA activities meet company quality standards, HIPAA requirements, and data integrity best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience as
    SQA.
  • Strong understanding of
    QA methodologies
    , SDLC, and STLC.
  • Knowledge of
    medical billing processes, EHRs, healthcare workflows, or RCM systems
    (strong preference).
  • Experience testing
    web applications, dashboards, and APIs
    .
  • Familiarity with databases and ability to run basic SQL queries.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional Agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with
    ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS codes
    , claim scrubbing, or payer-specific rules.
  • Testing experience in
    Clearinghouse integrations, ANSI 837/835 formats
    , or healthcare portals.
  • Exposure to automation tools such as
    Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
    (optional).
  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and PHI data protection.
