Role Description

Incoming Quality Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the quality of incoming materials and components, implementing quality control processes, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. The role involves inspecting materials, conducting tests, troubleshooting quality issues, coordinating with suppliers, and maintaining quality documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

* Ensure quality requirements are met for all incoming materials (SMT/mechanical/packaging)

Develop and implement inspection procedures for material quality verification.

* Utilize SAP for material tracking and management.

* Handle non-conformities and initiate quality notifications.

* Coordinate with suppliers to resolve NCRs and drive quality improvements.

* Operate and interpret results from metrology devices such as: Vision Measurement System (VMS) , Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) , Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Comparator, Height Gauge

* Apply quality tools and methodologies including: CAPA , 7 QC Tools , 8D Problem Solving.

* Conduct supplier assessments and periodic audits to ensure compliance and performance.

* Communicate effectively in both spoken and written English.

Qualification
:

* BE or Diploma (Electronics or electrical).

* 5 to 6 years of experience

* IQC - SMT components/ Mechanical/ electrical part inspection.

* EMS background
