We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager – Embedded Systems to lead a team of engineers focused on Linux-based firmware development, Board Support Package (BSP), and hardware-software integration. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strong leadership abilities, and a passion for delivering high-performance embedded solutions in a dynamic product development environment.

Key Responsibilities:

● Lead and manage a team of embedded software engineers in the design, development, and maintenance of embedded firmware for Linux-based systems.

● Oversee BSP development for various hardware platforms (e.g., ARM, RISC-V, x86).

● Define system architecture and guide low-level software design, including bootloaders, kernel customization, device drivers, and board bring-up.

● Collaborate closely with hardware, QA, and product teams to ensure tight integration and timely delivery of embedded solutions.

● Drive continuous improvement in development processes, code quality, and system performance.

● Conduct code reviews, provide technical mentorship, and foster a culture of innovation and accountability.

● Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resource planning to meet business goals.

● Stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies related to embedded Linux and firmware development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.

● Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in embedded systems development with at least 2 years in a technical leadership or management role.

● Strong expertise in:

○ Embedded Linux development

○ U-Boot and other bootloaders

○ Linux kernel and device driver development

○ Board Support Package (BSP) porting and customization

● Proficiency in C/C++, shell scripting, and version control (e.g., Git).

● Experience in board bring-up, debugging hardware interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, etc.). ● Familiarity with secure boot, OTA updates, and system diagnostics.

● Solid understanding of hardware schematics and working with SoCs and microcontrollers.

● Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
