We are looking for a committed Software QA Engineer to work with us, concentrating on testing and quality assurance of our business applications. Responsibilities:

Test Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure the highest quality standards.
  • Conduct both manual and automated testing, including functional, system, integration, and regression testing.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs and inconsistencies.

Test Development:

  • Create, maintain, and enhance test cases.
  • Collaborate with the development team to integrate automated testing within the CI/CD pipeline.

Performance and Security Testing:

  • Perform load and stress testing to evaluate the system's performance under various conditions.
  • Conduct security testing to ensure applications are free from vulnerabilities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the development and product teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on design and implementation.
  • Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to team members and management.

Quality Assurance Processes:

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and practices.
  • Stay updated with new testing tools and strategies.

User Experience Testing:

  • Assess and optimize the usability of the web applications for end-users.
  • Validate user interfaces against design and usability standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a QA engineer with a focus on web applications.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.) and web testing tools.
  • Knowledge of SQL and scripting is a plus.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Automated Test Development is PLUS
