We are looking for an experienced
Electrical Designer
to join our
Proposal Department
within a reputed EPC company in the Oil & Gas sector. The ideal candidate will have
7–10 years of hands-on experience in electrical design and drafting
, with strong expertise in
AutoCAD and Dialux
, supporting technical proposals for large-scale Oil & Gas projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare electrical design and drafting deliverables for
    tender and proposal stages
    in accordance with client specifications and applicable standards.
  • Develop and update
    electrical drawings
    including:
  • Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)
  • Power and lighting layouts
  • Earthing and lightning protection layouts
  • Cable routing and trench layouts
  • Equipment layout drawings
  • Perform
    lighting calculations and simulations using Dialux
    and prepare lighting calculation reports.
  • Prepare and update
    load lists, cable schedules, and equipment data
    based on proposal requirements.
  • Draft electrical schematics, layouts, and typical details using
    AutoCAD
    .
  • Coordinate with
    civil, mechanical, and instrumentation teams
    to ensure design consistency during proposal development.
  • Support proposal engineering by providing
    technical drawings, BOQs, and design clarifications
    .
  • Assist in identifying design constraints and proposing practical, cost-effective design solutions.
  • Revise drawings based on
    client comments and internal reviews
    .
  • Ensure drawings comply with
    IEC, IEEE, NEC, and project-specific standards
    applicable to Oil & Gas facilities.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in
    Electrical Engineering
    or related discipline.
  • 7–10 years of experience
    as an Electrical Designer/Drafter, preferably in
    EPC Oil & Gas projects
    .
  • Strong proficiency in
    AutoCAD (mandatory)
    .
  • Hands-on experience with
    Dialux
    for lighting design and calculations.
