About The Role

We are seeking a Senior .NET Engineer to join and lead our growing healthcare technology team. As a Senior .NET Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable backend systems that power our digital health platforms. You will work closely with front-end engineers, product managers, and clinical stakeholders to build high-quality, secure, and compliant applications that make a meaningful difference in mental healthcare delivery. This is a hands-on role requiring technical leadership, architectural insight, and the ability to mentor junior developers while ensuring our systems meet industry standards for performance and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of backend systems and APIs using .NET (C#) and related technologies.
• Develop scalable microservices and integrations that power our EHR and patient management systems.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code aligned with best software engineering practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend applications for performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure software meets healthcare standards for security and compliance, including HIPAA and other regulatory frameworks.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and contribute to overall system design decisions.
• Integrate backend systems with third-party APIs, healthcare data exchanges (HL7, FHIR), and internal applications.
• Develop data pipelines and tools to process, analyze, and report on healthcare information securely.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of collaboration and technical excellence.

Requirements

• Fluent in English
• Able to work during US hours
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development with .NET (C#).
• Strong experience with ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, and SQL Server.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP (Azure preferred).
• Familiarity with healthcare standards such as HL7, FHIR, or HIPAA compliance is a strong plus.
• Proficiency with version control systems (Git).
• Prior experience in regulated industries (healthcare, finance, etc.) is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Additional Information

The expected base pay for this role will be between Rs500, Rs800,000.00 per month at the commencement of employment. However, base pay will be determined on an individualized basis and will be impacted by location and years of experience.
