About the Job:

We are a home health agency looking for a Python Developer to help us build a smart AI assistant. This tool will help our nurses and staff by answering questions about patient care, hospice rules, and agency procedures, similar to ChatGPT but specialized for home health.

What You Will Do:

  • Build and train AI models to understand and generate human-like text.
  • Create the "brain" (backend) for our AI assistant using Python.
  • Work with healthcare data to make the AI accurate and helpful for our staff.
  • Test the AI to make sure it gives correct and safe information.
  • Keep improving the AI based on feedback from our team.

We Are Looking For Someone With:

  • Experience writing code in Python.
  • Understanding of how to build and connect APIs (the pathways for software to talk to each other).
  • Experience with AI and Machine Learning libraries (like OpenAI API, LangChain, Hugging Face, or similar).
  • Basic knowledge of databases (SQL or others) to store and manage information.
  • Ability to solve problems and work on a new, innovative project.
  • Good communication skills.

It's a Plus If You Have:

  • Any experience or interest in the healthcare industry.
  • Knowledge of how to handle data securely and privately (important for patient information).
  • Experience with cloud services like AWS or Google Cloud.
