The Dua Brand is on the lookout for a creative, detail-oriented, and fast-paced Video Editor who can bring our brand's vision to life through engaging and visually compelling content. You will be responsible for editing product feature videos, personal brand short- and long-form content, and reels for our in-house brands. This role also requires a keen understanding of current editing trends, transitions, hooks, and color grading techniques to keep our content competitive and on-trend.

An added plus would be experience or knowledge in lighting and environment setup to guide our videographer in the USA for optimal shooting conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit high-quality product feature videos, reels, and brand storytelling content for The Dua Brand and other in-house brands.
  • Edit short-form (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts) and long-form content for personal brand channels and campaigns.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all edited content while adapting style for different platforms.
  • Apply professional color grading to ensure visuals align with brand tone and style.
  • Use the latest transitions, effects, and hook techniques to maximize viewer retention and engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with the videographer and creative team to understand content goals and requirements.
  • Provide guidance on lighting and environment setups for shoots conducted in the USA to ensure optimal video quality.
  • Manage and organize raw footage, maintain an efficient workflow, and meet deadlines for multiple ongoing projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing tools, social media trends, and platform best practices.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio of product and brand content.
  • Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of color correction, color grading, audio syncing, and storytelling in video.
  • Creativity in implementing hooks, transitions, and engaging visual storytelling techniques.
  • Familiarity with various social media formats, aspect ratios, and content requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining quality.
  • Bonus: Knowledge of lighting techniques and environment setup for video shoots.

Preferred Skills

  • Motion graphics skills in After Effects or similar.
  • Understanding of branding and marketing principles in content creation.
  • Ability to give constructive creative input during shoots.
