1. Purpose of the Position

The District Coordinator will ensure smooth field-level implementation of D4WEE activities in their assigned district, including mobilization of beneficiaries, coordination with local institutions, and facilitation of training and placement activities. They will act as the primary district focal point, linking communities, academia, private sector actors, and the consortium with the Project Manager.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Beneficiary Mobilization & Outreach

• Plan and lead community-level mobilization campaigns to identify and recruit women beneficiaries across Tiers 1, 2, and 3.
• Ensure inclusive outreach targeting young women facing cultural, financial, or geographic barriers.
• Maintain beneficiary registration records and ensure accurate data entry into project MIS.

B. Training & Capacity Development Support

• Coordinate with training providers and consortium partners to ensure smooth delivery of digital skills courses in district hubs.
• Monitor training sessions, ensuring quality, gender-sensitive facilitation, and relevance to local needs.
• Provide logistical and administrative support to trainers and participants.

C. Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement

• Maintain strong working relations with local universities, colleges, vocational institutes, and community IT hubs.
• Engage with district-level ICT companies, startups, and SMEs for internships, apprenticeships, and job placement opportunities.
• Liaise with local government offices, women's organizations, and civil society to strengthen community buy-in.

D. Monitoring, Reporting & Learning

• Collect field-level monitoring data (attendance, completion rates, placement tracking) and submit weekly updates to the Project Manager.
• Document lessons learned, success stories, and challenges from the district.
• Support adaptive programming by sharing community and participant feedback with the PM.

E. Administration & Coordination

• Manage day-to-day operations of the district project office/hub.
• Supervise field mobilizers, interns, and support staff assigned to the district.
• Ensure compliance with AHKF and UN Women's guidelines on safeguarding, gender sensitivity, and data protection.

3. Required Qualifications & Experience

• • Bachelor's degree in social sciences, Education, IT/ICT, Development Studies, or related field (Master's preferred).
• At least 3–5 years of experience in community mobilization, training coordination, or women's empowerment projects.
• Prior experience working in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with an understanding of local socio-cultural dynamics.
• Strong coordination and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Good IT literacy: familiarity with digital skills/freelancing programs preferred.
• Fluency in Pashto, Urdu, and working proficiency in English.

5. Duty Station & Travel

• Based in assigned district (Swabi, Mardan, or Peshawar).
• Regular travel within the district and occasional travel to Peshawar for consortium coordination meetings.

6. Reporting Line

• Reports directly to the Project Manager (based in Peshawar).
• Works closely with trainers, mobilizers, and consortium focal points.
