Germany & Ireland Study Abroad Counselor

Job Summary:

The Germany & Ireland Counselor will be responsible for advising students on study opportunities in Germany and Ireland, managing the complete student lifecycle from counseling to visa filing, and ensuring high visa success rates through accurate guidance and compliance with embassy requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Counsel students on study options in Germany and Ireland (universities, courses, intakes, eligibility).
  • Assess student profiles and recommend suitable programs aligned with academic and career goals.
  • Handle end-to-end applications including admissions, documentation, and follow-ups with institutions.
  • Provide accurate guidance on APS, blocked account, language requirements, and visa procedures for Germany.
  • Guide students on Ireland visa process, financial requirements, and compliance standards.
  • Prepare students for credible interviews and pre-departure briefings.
  • Ensure complete and error-free visa files as per embassy and VFS guidelines.
  • Maintain regular communication with partner institutions and internal admissions teams.
  • Update CRM and maintain proper student records and reporting.
  • Meet monthly enrollment and visa success targets.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 1–2 years experience in Germany and/or Ireland counseling.
  • Strong knowledge of visa rules, admission criteria, and documentation.
  • Excellent communication and counseling skills.
  • Target-oriented with strong follow-up capabilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.

  • Application-to-visa success ratio.
  • Monthly enrollment targets.
  • File accuracy and compliance rate.
  • Student satisfaction and retention.
