Job Summary:
The SEO Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive SEO strategies across technical, on-page, and off-page fronts. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, be adept at identifying growth opportunities, and stay current with the ever-evolving SEO landscape. This role is crucial in enhancing our search visibility, increasing website traffic, and contributing to our overall business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development & Implementation:
- Plan and execute comprehensive on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies to improve website performance and search engine rankings.
- Develop and integrate SEO best practices into overall content marketing strategies, collaborating with content creators to optimize existing and future content.
- Technical SEO:
- Conduct thorough technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues such as crawl errors, indexing problems, site speed, mobile-friendliness, broken links, XML sitemaps, and errors.
- Work closely with web developers and designers to implement technical SEO changes and ensure website updates do not negatively impact SEO performance.
- Implement and optimize structured data (schema markup) to enhance search visibility and rich snippets.
- Ensure website architecture, URL structure, and internal linking are optimized for search engines and user experience.
- On-Page SEO:
- Perform in-depth keyword research and analysis to identify high-value keywords, relevant search terms, and phrases that drive organic traffic and conversions.
- Optimize website content, meta titles, meta descriptions, header tags, image alt text, and other on-page elements for targeted keywords and user intent.
- Conduct content gap analysis to identify opportunities for new content creation.
- Off-Page SEO (Link Building & Authority):
- Develop and execute effective link-building strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks from authoritative and relevant websites.
- Identify opportunities for link reclamation and unlinked brand mentions.
- Monitor and analyze competitor backlink profiles and strategies.
- Explore and leverage local SEO strategies and social media marketing for brand visibility and engagement.
- Analysis, Reporting & Monitoring:
- Monitor website performance using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, or similar platforms.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) including organic traffic, keyword rankings, bounce rate, click-through rates (CTR), and conversions.
- Generate insightful reports on SEO performance, provide actionable recommendations, and present findings to stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including content creators, web developers, UX/UI designers, and marketing professionals to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all aspects of website development and content creation.
- Provide SEO guidance and support to internal teams as needed.
