Ghories Inc. provides outsourced Bookkeeping & Accounting services to SMEs across North America. We run modern, cloud-first finance operations built on QBO/Xero and tight close discipline.

Role Overview

You will manage day-to-day books for a portfolio of North American clients, execute month-end closes, and deliver clean, decision-ready financials on a reliable cadence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own daily coding from bank/credit-card feeds; maintain an organized Chart of Accounts
  • Perform bank/CC reconciliations and prepare period-end journals (accruals, prepaids, amortizations)
  • Manage AP/AR clerical workflows (bill entry, invoicing support, aging reviews, vendor/client reconciliations)
  • Assist with inventory/COGS, job or class tracking (where applicable)
  • Produce monthly reporting packs (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, AR/AP Aging) and variance notes
  • Liaise with client managers/CPAs for queries and year-end support
  • Uphold internal controls, checklists, and data security protocols

Qualifications

  • Minimum
    2 years
    of hands-on bookkeeping/accounting experience
  • Proficiency in
    QuickBooks Online (QBO)
    and
    Xero
    is
    required
  • Strong MS Excel
    skills (lookups, pivots, reconciliations, data cleanup)
  • Working knowledge of accrual accounting and month-end close best practices
  • Clear written and spoken English for client communication across time zones
  • ACCA/CA/ICMA students or graduates preferred (ACCA Gold Employer environment)
