Junior Mechatronics Engr

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Junior Mechatronics Engineer
to join our electrical design team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and routing 3D electrical harnesses, integrating them with mechanical assemblies, and ensuring compliance with automotive industry standards. This position offers hands-on involvement in the complete product development cycle, from concept to production release.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and route 3D electrical harnesses in alignment with vehicle packaging and functional requirements.
2. Create 3D models of connectors, clips, grommets, and other electrical components.
3. Integrate electrical harness designs with mechanical assemblies and resolve spatial conflicts.
4. Generate and manage detailed Bill of Materials (BOM), part lists, and harness component tables.
5. Develop and release production-ready data, including manufacturing drawings and documentation.
6. Coordinate with 2D electrical engineers to align schematics and harness routing.
7. Collaborate with mechanical, systems, and manufacturing teams to ensure build feasibility and ease of assembly.
8. Support harness build trials and provide feedback for design improvement.
9. Ensure compliance with company standards and automotive industry best practices.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering.
2. 0–3 years of professional experience in design engineering (internship or project experience will be considered).
3. Familiarity with 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks Electrical) for harness design.
4. Basic understanding of electrical systems, wiring harnesses, and mechanical integration.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

1. Knowledge of automotive electrical standards and best practices.
2. Experience in BOM management and technical documentation.
3. Exposure to harness manufacturing processes.
