Job Title: Trainee Engineer

Department: Operations / Projects / Maintenance

Location: Islamabad

Reports To: Senior Engineer / Project Manager

Job Purpose:

The Trainee Engineer will undergo technical and on-site training to develop a comprehensive understanding of elevator and escalator systems, project execution, and maintenance procedures. The role is designed to prepare engineering graduates registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for future technical and managerial positions within TK Elevator Pakistan.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist senior engineers in installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of elevators and escalators.

Support in site supervision, ensuring compliance with TKE safety and quality standards.

Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including daily progress reports and checklists.

Participate in troubleshooting activities under supervision to identify and resolve technical issues.

Coordinate with project, logistics, and service teams for smooth execution of assigned tasks.

Learn and follow TKE standard operating procedures (SOPs) and manufacturer's technical manuals.

Assist in preparing material requisitions, site measurements, and progress reports.

Observe and adhere to HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) protocols at all times.

Attend technical and soft skills training sessions organized by TKE.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering.

Registration: Must be PEC-registered (Pakistan Engineering Council).

Experience: Fresh graduates or up to 1 year of relevant internship/field experience.

Skills:

Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn.

Basic knowledge of electrical/mechanical systems.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Proficiency in MS Office and basic CAD tools.
