About the Role:

Responsibilities:

• Direct involvement and leadership in the root cause analysis and effective resolution of quality issues including the decision to hold inventory of raw material, components, and finished goods; supports as required SCJ recovery process of finished goods from trade and consumer to assure product quality and safety.
• Align with Site Manager and Regional Quality and Regional Business Leads on priorities, objectives, strategies and KPI's and be accountable for the delivery of finished products from Pakistani Ems and materials used for Pakistani EM productions.
• Implement SQA program to determine supplier's reliability as required by corporate quality assurance and product supply chain.
• Supports regional maintenance and improvement of ISO 9001 at IM sites supporting Quality Pillar work where possible. Recommend appropriate changes when necessary.
• Reports to the Management Committee performance of Quality management system and identified improvement; Be a member of the Regional Quality Hub and providing insight into Quality KPI performance, plant specific action items implemented to address poor KPIs, system/compliance issues, supplier issues or preventive action activities, and providing permanent and proactive input and adding value with regards to Quality.
• Ensure compliance to all local, state and country Quality regulations, providing advance notification of pending changes.
• Participate in the eradication of Incidents and non-conformity through effective investigations and CAPA.
• Participate on product development teams to ensure quality is driven into the product and manufacturing process at early stages of product development.
• Facilitate FMEA, and other hazard identification techniques

Experience You'll Bring:

• Background in quality assurance and safety, health, and environment, preferably within aerosol manufacturing or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG).
• Experience in Manufacturing, Production, or similar functions, with direct people management on the shop floor.
• Technical competence in the operations of Quality functions.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2000 standards; additional knowledge of TPM is a plus.
