Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a PHP Developer located in Lahore. The PHP Developer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing PHP-based applications and websites. Day-to-day tasks will include debugging and troubleshooting code, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement new features, and ensuring the overall performance and scalability of applications. The developer will also work closely with designers and frontend developers to bring creative ideas to life and adhere to project timelines.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of PHP and web development frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony).
  • Proficiency in database management, query optimization, and experience with MySQL or other relational databases.
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and libraries like jQuery.
  • Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, with skills in debugging and troubleshooting software issues.
  • Understanding of API development, integration, and consumption (RESTful APIs).
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Knowledge of security practices in web development and experience in deploying web applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
