Job Title: Junior PHP Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Junior PHP Developer to join our software development team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of PHP, web development concepts, and database management. You will assist in developing, testing, and maintaining web-based applications while gaining hands-on experience under the supervision of senior developers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of web applications using PHP and related technologies.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code under guidance.
  • Support the integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Help design and manage relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
  • Test and debug code to ensure software quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with designers, front-end developers, and project managers.
  • Learn and follow company coding standards and development best practices.
  • Stay updated with the latest PHP and web development trends.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 0–2 years of experience in PHP web development (internship or freelance work is acceptable).
  • Basic understanding of Core PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and AJAX.
  • Familiarity with at least one PHP framework (preferably Laravel or CodeIgniter).
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and JSON handling is a plus.
  • Understanding of OOP (Object-Oriented Programming) concepts.
  • Eagerness to learn and ability to take feedback constructively.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills (Optional):

  • Experience with Git or any version control system.
  • Knowledge of basic frontend frameworks , React, etc.).
  • Awareness of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
