Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Technical SEO Specialist and WordPress Web Developer at Sparklex Technologies Pvt Ltd.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining high-performance WordPress websites with a strong focus on technical SEO implementation and website functionality.

Key responsibilities include performing comprehensive SEO audits, optimizing website structure and on-page elements, improving site speed and performance, managing hosting and domain configurations, and ensuring best practices in both SEO and web development.

The role also involves collaborating with designers and content creators to enhance user experience, implement responsive designs, and troubleshoot technical issues.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain responsive WordPress websites using themes, plugins, and custom code.
  • Perform technical SEO audits and implement improvements related to crawlability, indexing, site speed, and structured data.
  • Optimize website architecture, internal linking, and schema markup to improve search rankings.
  • Implement on-page SEO strategies including meta tags, alt text, and content formatting.
  • Ensure websites are fully optimized for performance, security, and mobile usability.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers and content writers to create SEO-friendly layouts and improve overall user experience.
  • Troubleshoot and fix front-end and back-end issues on WordPress sites.
  • Manage hosting environments, DNS, SSL, and backups.
  • Regularly monitor and report website performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, and other SEO tools.
  • Stay updated with the latest web technologies and SEO algorithm changes.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in WordPress website design and development (custom themes, plugins, and page builders like Elementor, Divi, or Gutenberg).
  • Strong understanding of Technical SEO, including site structure, crawlability, Core Web Vitals, and schema markup.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP for WordPress customization.
  • Experience with SEO audits, keyword research, and competitor analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Tag Manager.
  • Understanding of website performance optimization, caching, and CDN configuration.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a digital marketing or web development agency is a plus.
